I've been wanting a tall thin lamp to sit up on the china cabinet for a while now...
and finally I found one!
not too bad for $3, and it does the trick perfectly. No more dark corners in our home!
This little rattan french looking torso thingy was a bargain for $5 I think. I thought it filled the gap nicely between the china cabinet and the sofa table, and goes well with the little collection of small urns........
This little toile magazine holder wasn't thrifted, but I did get it on sale for $8. I think it's purpose is to hold yarn, but I'll use it for magazines......
I've been eyeing this wrought iron plate stand off for a while now, but didn't think it was worth $15 at a thrift store, but recently it was marked down to $5...so SOLD! lol
I fell completely in luuuurve with this gorgeous 38cm cake platter, and thought it was worth every penny of the $7 asking price!
I have been collecting soup tureens for a couple of years now, and usually only buy white/cream coloured ones, but I just couldn't resist this little beauty no matter what the price. Imagine my joy at hearing that it was only $4!
Since it's been a couple of weeks since I last posted I thought I'd show you how much our little ladies have grown. Here's LuLu La Rue standing tall and proud at less than 20 cms high! She's turned into the most wonderful little lady, and finally fully toilet trained! Woo Hoo! lol
Mia BonBon on the other hand is having lots of trouble toilet training, but she's just the sweetest little darling, so placid and happy.
The girls just love each other so much, and always sleep curled up together. They also really enjoy it anytime we take them out with us. Here they are in my truck getting ready to go on a picnic..........
all ready to go!
once we got to the park, they were so excited to start their adventure....
everyone's so happy!
and off we go again!
tangling Princess up as they go merrily on their way............
LuLu & Mia........best friends forever.
I hope you have all been well and enjoying your summer. Winter is just about over for us, and we've already been having some very warm days. I dread to even think about what summer will be like at this rate! Anyway, I hope you're all well and happy. I'll try to be back sooner, until then though..........
wishing you a wonderful week!
Lots of love.........Amanda xxx

Hello Amanda,
I can't believe the beautiful things you find thrifting! I can't seem to find such beauties here at our thrift stores.
The doggies are beyound cute! They are absolutly adorable! You were smart to get two little ones. They are such good company for each other. In the event you have to leave them home, they will be there for each other. But it doesn't look like they are left home alone very often! Who could resist thoes big brown eyes. I would take them everywhere with me too!
Take care. We are loving all of the posts about your new little members of your family!
Hugs!
