A good friend of mine emailed me this list of "40 things" for me to reply to, so I thought for a bit of fun I would answer the questions here on my blog.....
1: Where is your cell/mobile phone? Sitting right next to me on my office table.
2: Your significant other? My sweet & funny husband, John.
3: Your hair? Blond, short, wild.
4: Your mother? Gabrielle.....my closest friend.
5: Your Father? Graham...never forgotten...passed away at age 38, when I was 4yrs old.
6: Your favourite thing? Thrifting for a new make over project!
7: Your dream last night? An upsetting one about our beloved Paris Fifi. I've had this dream a lot lately....
8: Your favourite drink? In summer it's ice cold water, in winter it's a skinny white chocolate mocha from either Zarraffa's, Gloria Jeans or Starbucks.
9: Your dream/goal? To help our beautiful daughter fulfill her dreams.
10: What room are you in? Family room.
11: Your hobby? Thrifting and making over furniture.
12: Your fear? How about we just ignore this question....
13: Where you want to be in 6 years? Anywhere as long as we're all healthy & happy.
14: Where were you last night? At home, cleaning up from having friends and family over for a birthday party for John.
15: Muffins? Always welcome...
16: Wish list item? An awesome camera and a second oven.
17: Where you grew up? Not too far away from where I live now, but it feels like a whole other planet at times.
18: Your car? oohhh yes, my beautiful new Toyota Landcruiser whom I've named Elliot.
19: Last thing you did? Typed a work email for my husband, John.
20: What you are wearing now? A pink nightie with 2 little bears sitting together in a love heart and it says "beary best friends". Ya I know, I need to go shopping......
21: Your favourite author? Beverly Lewis.
22: Your pets? Now we only have Julietta (white cat on my side bar), and just recently lost our beloved Paris Fifi (Chihuahua x Mini Foxy).....
23: Friends? Cherished!
24: Your life? Hectic, fun, crazy and full of surprises!
25: Your mood? Good, happy, relaxed....tired.
26: Missing someone? Yes, very much.
27: Something you're not wearing? My glasses.
28: Your favourite store? Grocery store, and thrift stores!
29: Your favourite colour? Can you guess????????????? lol
30: Favourite perfume? I like to wear Tweed around the house, Red Door when I go shopping, YSL Rive Gauche out at night, and Chanel no 5 to bed.
31: Favourite holiday season? Christmas!!!!
32: Public school? was down the road from my Private school.
33: When is the last time you laughed? Tonight when my husband came home from work and we were sharing about our day while I cooked dinner.
34: Last time you cried? Today when I opened the VISA bill. I cried...John sobbed.
35: Favourite season? Winter....but blink twice and you'll miss it over here.
36: One place to go over and over? Anywhere that makes you happy.
37: One special person in your life? Our daughter.
38? Favourite food? Home cooked, or Italian restaurant.
39: Why you participated in this survey? I kept a promise.
40: What did you do tonight? Had maths & science tutors over for darling daughter, typed work emails for dear hubby, now off to read a new decorating magazine in bed....wearing Chanel no 5! lol

(I have pics of Hannah's room up today on my blog ... not really a make over, just cleaned up the room, freshened the paint on the trim, drawer fronts, and window seat, and photographed the pre-existing horses I stenciled around the room.)

I think not. I think that is what life is suppose to be.
I'm playing blog catch up today. Your 40 things is so neat! My son has been home all week with asthma problems, so the post office was not an option this week. He gets to go back to school Monday and then I can head over to the post office and mail your package...unless I find a way to get over there tomorrow, Saturday. Those cottage pictures....is that your cottage?
