I'm sorry...

I'm very sorry that I've been AWOL these last couple of days and haven't been around to visit. I feel bad when I can't call in for a cuppa with you at your place and see how you're going, and I did start to visit yesterday, but had to give it up because of yet another migraine. I thought I had it under control and tried to fight it, but I really should know better by now that that's useless. So I gave up and went to bed with some strong pain meds which seemed to have done the trick because I can at least open my eyes today, and that was a lovely thing to wake up to....pain relief! The other thing that was really nice to wake up to was the chill in the air. Autumn is finally here! Well sort of. Summer and Autumn are just having their last minute battle, but most of the time Autumn is coming out on top now. So I'm going to celebrate Autumn's victory this morning by making myself a lovely soothing and sweet cup of hot chocolate. Then I'm going to slip on my running shoes and head on over to visit all my dear friends in blogland. Knock knock......anyone home?

Good Afternoon Amanda,
I'm sorry you had another migrain. I'm glad that it's better after taking some strong meds tho. Do you think you may need to have your eyes checked? That could be something that's causing them. That's just my 2 cents input. I'm glad that Autumn is finally getting to you. I love the Autumn Season the best myself. Before Autumn fully gets here we have what they call Indian Summer. That's where it's still hot in the Autumn. LOL. I guess that is what I've always been told. I am home and I have some Hot Tea (Chamomille flavored) or some coffee for you. The girls have used up all the hot chocolate. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Amanda,
So glad to hear you're feeling better. I know migraines, when they hit they hit hards and indeed to be able to open your eyes is a relief. I would love a cup os sweet chocolate myself but I don't think that would be good dince my flu is finally getting better. Cheers for Autumn I can't wait to see your pics. Autumn has it's own magic you know...the air, the trees. So wonderful. Have a great day.
Hugs,
Dy

Oh sweet friend, I am sorry that you too have this affliction. Mine have gotten drastically worse since a am approaching that "change of life" time....but you are too young for that. I have also noticed that I seem to have more when the weather changes from season to season.....Summer into Fall and Winter to Spring. I've been told it has something to do with barometric pressures. Sure hoping as this week draws to the end that your headaches are gone for good, too.

((((bug hugs)))) Rosie

... *stirs a little vanilla flavoring and cute little marshmallows into a cuppa cocoa and passes it across the tea table to Amanda* ...
Here you go! A few chocolate chips cookies and some leftover impossible pie should go nicely with that.
Just found your blog through catherder (gato grove) and I love it! I will be back.
Feel free to stop by and see me in Sunny Southern California, where we are just beginning Spring.
Hugs!

Amanda: My mom said to tell you to check out the Vemma product that we wrote about in my blog. Several ladies who use this supplement say their headaches have eased off or even gone away after using Vemma. A friend's wife suffered from monthly headaches and they are now gone since using it. Just a bit of info intended to help my friends - not push product on anyone. Glad you are back blogging ... I like visting Oz - afterall, I am an Oztralian Shepherd!

I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering another migraine. One of my husband's coworkers suffered for many years and recently got some type of electrode installed in his skull that helps. Some sort of clinical trial, but it seems to work for him.

I love those early days of autumn. We had an especially long one here this year, cool crisp mornings and warm afternoons! One of my favorite times of years. Of course, spring & summer also have their benefits.

I clink my coffee cup next to your cup of chocolate. Cheers.

(thanks for the kind comments about my glasses. I really love them)

Hi sweet Amanda
Sorry to hear about your migraine, I have to say I suffer with headaches myself, especially when we have the heating on in the house (in this cold..brrr) - I think brings them on sometimes.
While you are waiting for the cool relief of Autumn, I am praying for a sunny day, just to take the kids out!
Well - we are off to the movies and for something to eat, keeps me sane just getting out of the house!
take care and have a great weekend!
xx

Hello Amanda, I am sorry you had a migraine. I am glad you are better now. I am going to celebrate your autumn with you by making myself a cup of black coffee. I will have to be patient for our spring again, as it is cold, windy and blustering, like poor Winnie the Pooh's blustery day. I am glad for you. Enjoy your Friday or is it nearly Saturday now, for you? Anyway enjoy.

Amanda, so to hear you have been under the weather...I know how that feels.
We have to make a connection...I have a few items I would like to mail to you. I know we spoke of it before but I may have missed something since that was when I came down with the flu. I can give you my e-mail if you want to send your snail mail address...then I can send you a bundle of your favorite things. Are you interested? LOL Dianntha dlessig@udata.com

I am always so sorry to hear of your headaches. I know they make you miss out on a large part of your life....I am thankful that they do have meds to help you. I will be even more thankful when they develop a SHOT or something that will wipe out migrains forever and ever, Amen!
Rest and take care,
bj

Hope your migraines have left the building! Those are so hard to battle, I get them also and they just throw me for a loop for the day. Hope they are better! Autum is knocking on your day...summer is knocking on ours now. We had field day at school Thursday and I got my first little sunburn. I lathered on the sunscreen...but of course forgot one little area around the back of my neck, and yikes does it sting back there, and it is the most lovely shade of red.....red is my favorite color...just not on my skin....LOL! Glad it is cooling off for you!
