Sunday on the Coast

Thank you all for your birthday wishes for John, we both really appreciate them all! He had to work all day on his birthday, and that night he was too tired to do too much, so we took him out for the day yesterday instead. We stopped for breakfast/morning tea at a gorgeous little tree top cafe high in the mountains where these beautiful rainforests are. We walked around and did a little shopping at some of the pretty craft stores/art galleries, then went to lunch down on the beach, at a little restaurant over looking the marina. A wonderful day was had by all, and then we had to come home, get bags packed, and get John over to the airport. There's a big world wide Engineering Conference happening in Asia starting today, so he'll be there for that this week. Princess and I felt very sad and lonely already as we drove the hour long drive back home late last night. I remember the last time John was away overseas and I got terribly lonely, and started this blog! Oh I am soooooo happy that I did that, for now I have all of you wonderful ladies to keep me company while my One True Love is away this time too!
