Last ones I promise!

Ok I know, you are probably sick to death of seeing my newly revamped bedroom by now but I promise these will be the last ones you'll have to be tortured with........for a while at least.....heheh. A few weeks ago Princess and I trotted along to the thrift stores in search of pictures for my bedroom walls and I found some ones that I totally fell in love with! The frames were awful gold plastic things though, so I got the pictures out of those ugly frames, bought some new frames and painted them white, inserted the pictures and hung. Then hey presto, the room was complete! I paid $5 for each thrift store picture and $10 for 3 frames (from IKEA), so for a total of $25 I got some lovely finishing touches for the bare bedroom walls. Whew! Now that room is finished, the hallway is complete, Princess's room is all done....... onto the next....... kitchen and dining room here I come! You know, I'll just get the house the way I want it and then we'll sell or something. Isn't that always the way?! lol Oh well, life's an adventure for sure! Love Amanda xxx

This is my favourite picture! Do you like it too?

I hung my 2 favourite prints on either side of the bed because I always wake up laying on either one side or the other. So this way the first thing I see is something I love! This is my husband's side of the bed....

On my side of the bed I hung my other favourite print. I would love to have a front porch like this someday....and I'm working on it ladies! lol

Another lovely front porch print. Aren't they just so dreamy and restful?! I can just imagine sitting there on a warm summer day, sipping an icy cold drink, and watching the world go rolling by......heavenly!

Hi Amanda

I think your strategy--what you see from your side of the bed is a great way to decorate! It is what you first see! Your pic choices are super, love all the porch settings. And the red candles on the wall also look great!

Enjoy the week!
