Baby it's NOT cold outside!

I know lots of you are having some wonderful snow falls at the moment (lucky you!!), so I thought I'd show you what's blooming around my neck of the woods this Christmas. Baby it's definitely NOT cold outside! lol

We have two Poinciana trees in our yard. The one out the front is so huge that it covers almost all of the front of the house! The one up the back near the pool is a little smaller, but still blooming beautifully...

Our Gardenia's are thriving, and the scent......is heavenly!

When we bought this house a few years ago, this Frangipani tree was just a little uncared for, struggling, half dead, sad looking plant. It's taken quite a bit to get it to come back to good health, but last Christmas and this Christmas it's producing some truly gorgeous blooms...

This is our daughter's favourite flower, so she is thrilled! She always has fresh ones in her room all Summer long...

Aren't they just beautiful...

It's been a long, hot, busy weekend here at Jacaranda Cottage. Christmas shopping, taking Princess to a dance event, then attending a 50th birthday party last night. Today we're taking it easy, swimming in our pool, watching Christmas movies, and doing laundry. Tonight my mum will come over here for a roast dinner, and then we are all going to see the Christmas lights. Can't wait! Hopefully I'll get some good photo's to share with you next week. Until then, have a fabulous day dear friends!

Love Amanda xxx

Your flowers are beautiful. The red and green are very Christmasy. It's finally cool here with a rain storm expected tonight. A few days ago it was 80 degrees.

Today it is raining and I am thankful because this rain would have meant 5 inches of snow....yesterday it was only 14 degrees...and windy...very cold here. Dianntha

Your pictures remind me so much of the blooms we had in South Florida. It makes me a bit homesick to see it all again. But, my heart is happy where I am.

The flowers look beautiful!
Right now, in middle Tennessee it it cloudy, very cold, and misting rain. We are under a winter weather advisory- with an ice storm warning! Brrrrr! I miss Summer!
So happy to see something lovely blooming somewhere!!
Blessings,
Pam

Oh, Amanda, your beautiful blooms are certainly a lovely site to see on this cold, rainy, dreary morning!

Gardenias are my all time favorites! Yours look so gorgeous!

Sounds like you and your family are enjoying the Chrismas season:-)

Stop by if you can, I have posted a prayer request for a special person.

Amanda, this post is breathtaking!!! I love it.

I'm sitting in the hearth room, in front of the fireplace. We've had freezing rain, sleet and snow, since yesterday and the temp is 15 degrees (F), at around 1:30 PM. It's pretty slick. We don't have to drive in it, so we're enjoying it.
