This Sunday is going to be an exciting day for our family because our 14yr old daughter (almost 15) has been asked to be the Godmother of my cousins youngest son ( I am the Godmother of her eldest son too!). Our Princess is absolutely thrilled and honoured to full fill this role and takes her responsibility of her to be Godson's spiritual guidance very seriously. We are of course very proud of her, she's a beautiful girl inside and out. Here is a recent photo I took of these two angels a little while ago, and hopefully I'll have some more to share after Sunday's Christening and the after party.
Also next week I am going to show you some more make over projects I've been up to when I was sick. I know you are supposed to rest when you are ill, and I did for the first 24hrs, but I can't just sit and do nothing when I have so many exciting plans to get started on! lol Maybe I should get sick more often because I am amazed at myself just how much I got accomplished last week! What I didn't do was get to visiting with you all, but I am going to make amends for that over the next 24 hours. It's just so hot here, a real heat wave, that all I am planning to do tonight and tomorrow (Saturday) is to potter around in the house with the a/c on and catch up with my blog friends.
I hope you've all had a lovely week, and that the coming weekend is relaxing and happy for you! Talk to you soon...Love Amanda xxx

I Amanda, I'm so glad you're feeling better and hope the same for your hubby! I love that picture - and look at that gorgeous shiny hair!! I'm envious!
Be a sweetie,

Oh what a darling baby. Do take care of yourself sweet Amanda. Thank you for your really meaningful comments on my blog. sometimes I feel like I blunder when I put up a post. I got very little response from my Black friends; (no positive ones)about my post. Several of you, however did. I always hope to be uplifting as well as honest on my blog. Thanks again. Kathi
But a wonderful honor to bestow on your dear Princess! I am sure the two of them will be very close a he grows up to admire the woman she becomes.
