Oh no! What's the first thing I see as I enter my bedroom? Someone is sound asleep on my freshly washed and ironed pillowcases?!
Can you see little Sleeping Beauty?
Yes we can see you Paris Fifi! Don't think we can't see you if you just ignore us! It's true, ignorance is bliss. LOL
Oopps, I seem to have been detected she says!
Mummy, just remember, I love you...xxx
Now for the real reason I wanted to show you our room again. Finally I got around to finishing off the window treatment. All I needed was some lace curtaining for this really long window, but for some reason I never got around to it until now. At last!
Just another angle for you to see...
I couldn't get the exact same match of lace that we have on the other window above the bed, but it's pretty close. I love the roses and the scalloped edges...
What do you think, do pink roses, white lace and pink gingham go together?
So now I can happily sit on my bed, reach down into the basket beside my side of the bed and grab a good book to read, and not feel as though the whole world is looking in the window at me anymore!
I love to lay on my bed and read a good book, or THE Good Book, put a freshly made cup of coffee to sip on that little floral plate on the nightstand, and relax...
or sometimes I like to just sit at this little table at the end of the bed and flick through a magazine or two. Now that school holidays and summer vacation are almost upon us, I plan to do just that! C'mon Summer!
I know I said I would post about thrift store Christmas finds in my next post, but I hung these curtains today and wanted to show you. Thrifting will be the next post, promise.......unless I do something else I just have to show you! lol
Wishing you all a fantastic day!..Love Amanda xxx

The curtains are the finishing touch and I think the roses and gingham go great together! What a peaceful spot you have created for yourself, good for you!

Hi Amanda! Oh, I love what you've done with your bedroom and the lace curtains just set off your beautiful window! I love lace! Your room looks like a picture from a decorating magazine! OH, and poor little Paris Fifi - you disturbed her beauty sleep.

Paris Fifi is my kind of dog! If I saw a bed that inviting and comfy I'd curl up on there too! Looks great Amanda! Sending you a note on Thanksgiving Day! Turkey is in the oven! Have a beautiful day!
