Of course the arrival of Santa and his helper was a big hit....
Santa had presents for all the young........
and presents for all the young at heart too.......
after all the presents were handed out, in typical aussie fashion, Santa fired up his bbq and got to work cooking up a storm for our party guests while some played in the yard with the children, others took a swim in our pool to cool off, while others relaxed with a cold drink in the shade laughing and talking with those they love most......family.
a delicious meal was served, bon bons were popped and silly paper hats were donned.......
everyone enjoyed escaping from the heat outside and coming into the lovely air conditioned house to cool off while they chose from an array of tantalizing desserts....
and when it was over, after Santa had stood out on the footpath waving goodbye to his last party guest, seeing them off with a few jolly ho ho ho's......
the poor guy collapsed from heat exhaustion from wearing his suit all day in 38 deg C (100.4 deg F) weather, and this is how I found my Santa....under the air con laying on our bed taking a nap.......
and dreaming about doing it all again next year!

I was smiling at all the happy faces and then I saw the deserts and knew that was part of why they were smiling , lol ! Looks like a fun family day , Merry Christmas .
