Flower Festival part 2!

Good morning ladies! I am so happy that you all enjoyed the garden tours in my last post, and as promised, here are the rest of the photo's I took that day. The gardens of these homes are just mind blowing to a non gardener like myself. Oh how I wish I had a green thumb, but I don't, so I will just have to be content with the gift I was given and that's baking! lol I was talking to some of the home owners who's gardens we toured and they were telling me that their gardens are their hobbies, forget cooking and decorating, forget traveling or sports, their gardens are their main focus. I'm not sure I could have just one interest, but I am certainly thankful that they have these beautiful eye candy gardens for us to enjoy! I hope you don't mind, I went a little crazy taking so many photo's, but I kept thinking to myself "Oh! The girls will just love these!" That's how I think of you all...'the girls' lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking at these gardens as much as I have. I am off now to don my hiking gear to climb over the mountain of washing that's built up while I was busy caring for my husband (who's gone back to work now and is doing pretty good. Not great, but good.) Wishing you all a fabulous day!...Love Amanda xxx

These pictures remind me of a beautiful garden on Victoria Island, called Buchard Gardens in Canada. I have been there 3 times when I was young. When my daughter gets older I would love to go there again. Beautiful gardens makes me think of heaven:)

I am totally in awe of these gardens. What marvelous pictures, Amanda!

Rosie's Whimsy is on a bit of a hiatus. I have been so busy with Tara and Lola, I really haven't done anything in the house or the garden ...... so, not too much to talk about right now.

I'll be back, though .......and I'll still be reading, lurking and commenting :-)

((hugs)) Rosie

Oh they are just fabulous! I don't have a green thumb, but have green thumb envy! Thanks for sharing all these neat pictures!

I wanted to thank you Amanda so much for sending me the beautiful gift! It was sitting here when I got home from work and I waited until all my work was done to open it (your present was my reward for getting me work done LOL!) Any way, I opened it and was so thrilled with everything! I love the darling note books, calander of Australia, the neat decorating magazine from Australia, the cute little heart mini pillow, the chicken welcome sign and the beautiful broach. I have always wanted a cameo broach and now I have one all the way from Australia from my good friend, Amanda! Thank you so much dear for picking my name and for sending the beautiful package!

You are a good friend.

Have a beautiful day!

Love, Sharon

I'm not quite sure what I picture Australia to look like, but this isn't it! Perhaps I watched The Thorn Birds 1 to many times.
