Lazy, hazy, crazy days.........

of school holidays! Today is the last day of school holidays. Children in Queensland schools have just had two weeks off, and now we're heading into the last term of our Australian school year. Two more months of school to go and then we're done for the year and get to have 2 months off for Summer holidays! Woo hoo, I/we can't wait! lol

We've had a busy couple of weeks, visiting with friends and family, going to a family funeral, going to the circus, to the park, to the theatre to see a play, swimming, shopping/thrifting, and to the movies 4 times. Today we've had a lovely end to the holidays lazing by/in the pool, and I've done a spot of cupcake baking this afternoon too. It's the football grand final this afternoon, so I had to get busy baking treats to feed my One True Love while he watches the game. I thought I'd leave you with various shots of things we did over the last couple of weeks since I haven't been posting as often as I should. Now I'm off to clean up the kitchen, then settle down in the hammock, under the palm trees to read a book......Wishing you a wonderful week. See you soon!........Love Amanda xxx

Our trip to the great Moscow Circus!

The clowns came over to the front row where we were sitting and grabbed my husband John, pulling him up to join them on stage!

Oh how Princess and I laughed and laughed....and laughed!

and laughed!

John was a good sport about it and had fun helping the 'clowns'. lol

It's hard to make out, but there are 3 men on a motor bike each in this cage of death!

Several trips to the movies.........

A picnic in the park with our good friends.......

We met our friends in the city, then had our picnic along the beautiful Brisbane River.....

We went to see a local production of The Sound of Music, and it was......

so well done and lots of fun!

With the Sprintime temps already at 90 deg F, it's nice to have a pool at home....

where the whole family can relax.......

and cool off.......

even little Miss Paris Fifi! lol

What fun you have had...good for you. You deserve a little break!
As you know our kids have just been in school about a month so we are just beginning the journey for the year. Our leaves should start turning in another week or two and then...winter begins. Where did the summer go? LOL Dianntha

I love the circus, and good for John for joining in. At least he didn't run away with the circus. ;-)

The riverfront is just beautiful. I would love to get on that boat.
