Chasing dust bunnies...

Thought I'd join in on the fun of Smiling Sally's Blue Monday. What about you, are you feeling blue today too? If you are, go check out Smiling Sally for some cheery blue fun!

http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

Just popping in quickly to wish everyone a lovely day! I'm giving our little Jacaranda Cottage a good deep cleaning today. Hope your day is a happy one too!

Love Amanda xxx

PS Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes on Tropical Cyclone Hamish. They appear to be working as the cyclone seems to be decreasing (ever so slowly!), although it's blowing a gale outside right now and the sky is a deep dark gray, so please keep praying that it continues to decline. They are saying that the wind shouldn't be AS damaging, but there's still the threat of strong wind and flooding from heavy rain and rising sea levels. I'll update when I know more......Amanda.

Good morning, dear one. I am glad the weather is getting some better but we will keep praying.
Your blue rug is lovely....
I HAVE THE VERY SAME ONE in my dining room...lol...aren't we so good!! hahaha I love my hugh rug, too. I bought it at a moving sale for $25.00. Then, when I went into our local rug store, there it was for $675.00. The man told me that it was a really good rug and that it would not stain. He was right...I can just spot clean mine and it looks good as new...it is over 20 years old. I also saw this same rug in a decorating magazine several years ago !! woo hoo
Happy Blue Monday,
bj

I love the name of your blog. Jacaranda trees are so beautiful when they bloom. For us here in Southern California they bloom in June usually...

Amanda, my gosh was I out of touch. I'm happy your safe from storms. Continued safety.

How large is your cottage and would you be willing to share tips on storage. Mine is about 1000sq ft and i'm having to downsize my thinking.

I like your house cleaning topic.. chasing dust bunnies. Makes the task seem more potterish!

I'm picturing that storm blowing on by.

Hey ... weird request here, but would you take some pictures of the gray sky and the storm (if that is completely SAFE to do so)? You know ... just looking out your window.

We really don't get storms here. It must look scary and dark out there ... bet the trees are blowing and blowing.

Praying that storm out to sea.

p.s. pretty pretty pretty.

HI Amanda - I hope all is well and the storm has diverted as all have prayed for. Your cottage is a cutie! Welcome to Blue Monday and I peeked back to Pink Saturday as I am a bit behind on that one, too. Instead of blogging, I should be chasing the dust bunnies around here, too.

Your cottage looks so cheerful Amanda!

I hadn't heard about the cyclone. We had tornadoes passing through our area on Sunday. This sort of weather is to be expected here in Missouri, during spring. It's just a tad early though!!

My Apple is DOA! It is hard finding old friends when you lose all your lists!

Will check with you soon to see how all turned out.
