For this week's PINK post I am going to show you the before & after make over photo's of our 15yr old daughter's bedroom......
The next 3 photo's are of her old PINK bedroom......
When we bought Jacaranda Cottage, our Precious Princess was only 10yrs old and desperately wanted a PINK room.....
and a PINK room is what she got! lol
Last year, at age 14, Princess tells me that she is tired of her old room and would like a change..........
naturally, a request for a makeover of any sort is music to my ears!
It took me a weekend to fulfill her wishes of a more mature room that is still funky enough for a hip young woman......
a room that looks fresh and young....
where a young woman can primp and preen to her hearts desire.....
and of course every girl should have their own PINK disco ball.....
and some PINK jazz dance shoes too!
now, whether Princess is in her room chatting on the phone.....
doing her make up.....
getting ready to go out....
or staying in to watch a movie on her PINK Hello Kitty DVD player.....
she's happy in her new room, and thrilled that there's still lots of touches of our favourite colour......PINK!

Talk about a makeover!! The white really did brighten and mature the room. She can be very flexible with her colors & add on's. GREAT JOB Queen!! Hope your princess is very happy.

So sorry to be so late in getting here. I am in the process of redoing 2 bedrooms (just finished the 3rd) and just can't seem to get around as fast as I once could.

Your little girl has grown into a young lady. her new room sure looks very fitting for her :-) You must have enjoyed planning and decorating. I can still see splashes of pink. I like how those stuffed toys are lined above and wasn't changed :-)

My daughter loves pink as well, however now she wants to revamp her room as well...I should say tone it down! She is 15 and her room has alot of pink and black. We are still deciding what to do. Your daughters room looks great!

Oh my goodness. My 18 year old daughter in college has a pink hello kitty tv set. she would love that dvd player. We all still love pink...don't we? It never ceases to make me smile. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

I just had to stop by again (I love pink) to leave you a comment about your kitty. I have one of those white kitties who believes that the sun rises and sets on her, too. Cats, aren't they just the funniest, little creatures?
Also, I would like to mention how sorry I am that you lost your little dog. Our animals are a very important thread in our lives and I truly know the grief one can experience when the leave us for a better place.

It turned out so cute, Amanda! We're about to do-over too, my Abby is almost 15. She said her bedroom is "so sixth grade" and now she wants a look like Amy Butler's house. I'm pretty happy to indulge that! Thanks for the great ideas.
