It's here, Spring is in the air! All morning I've had the tune "Love is in the air" playing through my mind, except I've been humming away to "Spring is in the air" instead. The day is gorgeous, not a cloud in the azure blue sky. Just a slight breeze blowing, whispering to the plants that it's time for them to wake up from their slumber..................................
I've also got quite a spring in my step today (pardon the obvious pun there), because today is One True Love's last day in Asia! Woo Hoo! In 24 hours time he will be at the airport and making his way home! Last night I was talking to my dear sweet friend Maria and telling her how SLOWLY this week has dragged out. At times it felt like time stood still! If you count the time difference, well then it literally ticked backwards. Not good. Usually Maria and I comment each week at our Friday catch-up, just how fast the week has flown by, how surprised we are that another week is over already. But this week.........................well you get the idea folks!
So in honour of the day, the 1st day of Spring, the first day of September, here are some photo's of the plants that are starting to stretch & yawn themselves awake. I've also included some photo's of our sweet little Paris Fifi wearing her winter coat. I had warm clothes custom made for her so that she would be warm enough while on holidays at the snow fields with us. This is her rubbing herself against the passenger seat of our car. She really is very good at having her coat on, even comes sniffing to find it when she's really cold, but sometimes it just must give her the heebee geebee's or something because you'll see her going a tad insane rubbing against anything that will support her weight!
That's right Paris, do your little happy dance. Mummy has packed your Winter clothes away until next year. Time to go outside darling Paris Fifi, it's gardening day today!
