Yesterday we went for a drive into the country to visit some friends we haven't seen in a long time. The years just fell away as everyone joyfully caught up on each other's lives. Oh the old stories that do come out to haunt one! And oh the laughter!
As it was a family outing, Paris Fifi came along for the drive too. We stopped at a lovely picnic area to give Miss Paris a run, and decided to get delicious ice-creams while we strolled around looking at all these gorgeous flowers. Aren't they just amazing?!
Precious Princess had her new camera that her Daddy bought back from O/S for her, so I've added some of her photo's as well. I'm sorry if some are a little blurry, we're still playing with the settings on our 2 new cameras. Most of the photo's speak for themselves, but there's 2 I'll explain. Inside the cafe they had some murals painted on the walls. I got so excited when I saw them because just a few weeks ago I bought some old second hand shutters with the plan of painting them up and hanging them in our hallway with a mural painted inside, just like this one! (if I can ever shake my tail feather into gear and get it done, I'll post pics!) So while I was ordering the to-die-for ice-creams, Precious Princess went off snapping pics for me (One True Love was outside being dragged through the flowers by Paris Fifi during this time. He has all the fun don't you think?! Not! lol) The other mural is of a door way. There were people sitting in front of it, so Precious Princess could only get part of it, but you get the idea just how pretty it is right?
The whole park lands have been freshly planted up for Spring, and it just looked so lovely. Some of the flowers were just breath taking! Anyhoo, I'll stop yakking and let you enjoy the photo's.............
