Hello, my name is Amanda.....

I thought I had better re-introduce myself since I have been missing for so long! Sorry about that guys. Well last weekend went wonderfully well! Everyone had a great time, there was plenty of good food, great company and lots of strolling down memory lane. I had even arranged for a few surprise guests to be at the party, relatives that my family didn't know would be there, and whom they hadn't seen in years, so that was great fun! I'm sure you can imagine, as the hostess I was running to and fro all day long, not knowing if I was Arthur or Martha half the time, so photo taking was left to my Princess......................who got tied up visiting with her cousins and forgot all about the camera! I do have a couple of photo's of the food from one of the tables. I have no idea who took these photo's, they were just on the camera when I loaded it. So not many pics to share, but trust me, it was a really lovely day, and a great week with family staying here and different ones popping over for a quick visit or a meal as well. At 5am Monday morning we made the last airport run, then I came home, cleaned the house and collapsed. That's where I've been ever since.......down with the flu and an abscess/infected tooth on a tooth that's due for a filling next week. I've been so sick all week, tired, woozy, nauseous, dizzy, and in so much pain with this tooth that I thought my head would explode. So now finally I am on antibiotics and starting to feel a little better. At least I can sit up straight with out clutching the bucket for dear life! That's one way to loose weight fast hey! lol I hope you are all well my dear friends. I am sorry I haven't been around to visit this week, but I really appreciate all your wonderful comments you've been leaving me. My Precious Princess has been reading them out to me as I lay on the couch with an ice pack on my head and Paris Fifi on my chest. Thanks for that surprise lick across the face while I was asleep Paris. Yeah, thanks a lot. Ever tried scrubbing your lips off your face? No fun I can tell ya! lol Ok, I'm off to start visiting. Don't mind me, I'll be the one with the swollen face who's dragging all her medicines and tissues around. A charming sight I'm sure. lol
