Happy Sunday!

Wow, I can't believe the weekend is almost over already! We've had a fun and busy weekend, going out to dinner on Saturday night to a business dinner, then today pottering around home doing the garden, laundry and washing the car then cooling off with a lovely dip in the pool. Also this weekend my husband was going through some old photo's that were taken about 10 years ago, and he found some of himself and our daughter washing my old truck for me out the front of our other house. Then today when our daughter was washing my new truck (that I got in August), I took some photo's to show you how the times have changed! In the old photo's my husband is doing most of the actual washing of the truck and our daughter is just sort of spraying water all over everything (and having a wonderful time doing it too! lol). Now 10 years later, our Precious Princess is doing a good job of washing my truck, with Dad in the background chatting to her as she does it. We tend to forget things and take things for granted and it isn't until you look back over old photo's or something that you realize just how much things have changed and how much our kids have grown (and how old we've got too!). It only seems like yesterday that our daughter was 4 years old and helping Dad in those old photo's, and here she is today at 14 years old and getting ready to go for her very first job interview next Tuesday after school. Our daughter is trying to get her first part-time/weekend job. So I'm praying that if it's God's will, then she will get a chance at this wonderful job opportunity that's been offered to her. Anyway, I just wanted to share these family photo's with you as I strolled down memory lane tonight, and to wish you all a wonderful day tomorrow!

Our 14yr old daughter, Precious Princess, washing my new truck for me today....Good job my Angelheart!

Princess working hard, with Dad checking on her progress as he has a nice cold drink break from his gardening jobs....

4yr old Princess having a delightful time hosing her Daddy while she "helps" him wash my old truck....so cute! lol

Dad about to get even with his soapy sponge! lol

As you can see, there was more water sprayed over the entire street than over the car (pre water restriction days!), but it's these little things like helping your Daddy wash the car that childhood memories are made of....

What precious photos, Amanda:-) But oh, it just goes by much too quickly....

Although your new truck looks great, I hate to tell you, but your steering wheel is on the wrong side, LOL;-)

I will be keeping Precious Princess in mind. I hope her interview is successful.
