A happy pitstop!

Hi Ladies! How was your day today? I had a good day, busy, but happy. Had to run a lot of errands today, get groceries in, and run Princess around to where she needed to be. During this I found that I had an unexpected half an hour between appointments so I made a quick pitstop at the thrift store since I was so close.....as you do!

I found this lovely little coffee mug for 50 cents. It's quite narrow and will be just perfect for when I'm wanting a quick, small cuppa on the fly......


I really, really love Christmas, it's my favourite time of year and now that it's nearing the end of the year the thrift stores are starting to put out some of their Christmas ornaments. I'm so excited! lol Anyway I found this sweet little tea light candle house for $2 (you can still see the price on the right hand side). A quick wash and it will be like all shiny and new!


This was my favourite find of the day. It's a glass snow globe. Very pretty and old fashioned looking. Just perfect for our little Jacaranda Cottage, and even better for my purse strings that it only cost 80 cents!


and lastly this little ceramic Santa bell was the most expensive score of the day at $2.50......


Each year I add to our Christmas collection a little at a time, and one day, hopefully by the time we have our Grandbabies running around, our home will be able to be decorated from top to bottom for the season. A Christmas winter wonderland.......in Australia.......in the middle of summer. Thank goodness for air conditioning! lol

Tomorrow we take LuLu to the vet to have her stitches removed, then we're off to my mum's to help her move some furniture around, she's in the mood for a change!
