Today was our first official day (being a Monday) of Summer Vacation, and we were up early for a refreshing breakfast of mangoes, nectarines, and banana smoothies. Then there was a carrot cake to get in the oven to be ready for morning smoko (an aussie expression for morning tea. It has nothing to do with smoking, which I don't do anyway! lol) Then outside to continue painting...........Precious Princess had her own ideas as to what painting she wanted to do today though! lol As you can see by the last photo, it was a tiring day for our work supervisor, Paris Fifi, who had to come inside for a nice cool nap under the air/con. Tomorrow we're having a break from painting to go Christmas shopping with my mum. Three generations out shopping together, and that usually ends up being such a crazy, fun day out! Happy day to you all too!

Oh my, your carrot cake looks delicious. I've never made one, but do like to eat them. LOL. Sounds like yall are going to have a good time today going Christmas shopping. Paris Fifi looks so comfy. It is cold here this morning. It was near 70 degrees yesterday and now its 31 degrees. I had my air-conditioner on yesterday and had to turn the heat back on last night. Yes, three generation shopping (or anything else, for that matter) is always a precious time. I LOVE going with my daughter or son and their kids....I love going ANYWHERE with them!
