Oh my gosh! It's sooooooo hot! The humidity is so high that as soon as you step out of the shower, you are already sweating again. All you want to do is lay around under these.........float around in this..........and eat this. Yesterday I scrubbed the house from top to bottom and had to keep stopping to jump in the pool to cool down a bit, then I'd start cleaning again. All I can say is thank goodness we have a pool and an air-conditioned house! Today Precious Princess and I went Christmas shopping and to the movies to see The Game Plan (her choice). We would normally stop for lunch too, but since Princess still can't chew yet (because of her braces), we just got a couple of mango smoothies to tide us over, then on we shopped! Tomorrow we've got some more shopping planned, then home to jump in the pool again. Is it me, or is there a bit of a pattern developing here?! lol Anyway, I hope you are all keeping nice and warm where you are (or nice and cool of you're over here struggling through the aussie summer too!). If you're willing to send some of your cold weather this way, I'm more than happy to have it!

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a day....except for the cleaning part .... LOL
Good Morning Amanda,
Well, I am so jealous that you can get in the pool at this time of year. LOL. It is another very foggy morning here again. I can send you some of my fog if you want that too. LOL. Okay, I have a question. What are the first 3 pictures of? Is that a portable air-conditioner or humidifier? I'm just curious here. LOL. And do please fix me some Ice Cream. I love Ice Cream. Sounds like you and PP are having a wonderful Summer over there. Well, take care my friend and have a great Tuesday. May God Bless You and Yours. Have fun shopping again today.
Hugs,
Karen H.
Hi Rosie and Karen! I hope you are both having a lovely start to your days. Karen, the first 3 photo's are of reverse cycle air conditioners on the walls in different rooms of our home. When it's REALLY hot I turn them all on and the cool air flows through the house. What a blessing they are on days like this! lol
Amanda.
OMG, I can't imagine jumping into the pool at this time of the year. It is warmer than usual here today, though. It's 40 now going to a high of 53! We are lucky not having the ice storms that have occurred all around our state.
Have a great day.
Nan
It still just blows my mind that you have decorations, going Christmas shopping and swimming in the pool, all at the same time! Christmas in the summertime is so foreign to me, I can't even imagine it! Have a happy time in your lovely pool....

Amanda, I hope that you stay cooler today. Hey, come out to California. Tis a freezing cold 35 degrees at night. Brrr... The sun warms us to 60ish during the day. No snow where I live, however I don't know if I'd like it much. Have a great day and I have to clean my house today!

We have a wee bit of jealousy going on around here. If you want to cool off, Amanda, come visit New Jersey...no air conditioning needed today! The pool sounds good on any day. Susan
Thanks for stoping by and the kind words. Here I am fussing over my Mississippi weather. My mind can't fathom you talking Christmas and Hot weather. I guess im just an old country girl that hasn't studied the world much. So if I get this right you have summer there now?
About the villages..what makes them so special is when you see one that reminds you of you and your life. Then shopping for the little things to go with it. One of my first real ones was a large church given to us as a gift when we had to move from a town where my husband and I were in the music ministry.I kept the little chuch lite up all year and it always reminded me of home. Now I love the restraunts because of my Chef son and I love my post office with the flag flying over since he is in the service. You will see they start to touch your heart. Good luck and have a blessed day.
Girl, that's the best cleaning routine I have ever heard!!!!
Sorry, I can't help you with the cold weather, some freak of nature is going on here this week and our temperatures are in the upper 70's. I'm about ready for a dip in a pool myself:)
Rhonda
Oh, how lovely... here, we are in the midst of a winter storm, under 18 degrees... yuck!
Enjoy the season.
Hot weather at Christmas! That still boggles my mind. About as much as a cold one would for you.
But you seem to have the right plan on bearing the heat.
Enjoy that pool!!
Love,
Julie
Those mango smoothies sound pretty good!
We're recovering from an ice storm at the moment.:-)

Here I am. Checking in on my Aussie summer vacation that I am living through you, while here is freezing a-- cold North Idaho. All is going well, I see! Love, your friend up over, Esther
