Merry Christmas!

From my family to yours, we'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope it's full of love and laughter, and that it's a safe, peaceful, and healthy time for you all. I'm going to take a little blogging break for a few days to spend with my darling family, but I'm eager to come back in a few days to catch up with you all and read all about your Christmas! Until then, I'll leave you with a few photo's I took last night when we drove around our neighbourhood looking at the Christmas displays, and a picture of my One True Love dressed up as Santa with his little Elf, Paris Fifi. Aren't they adorable together?! lol. Also, Rhonda of Farmhouse Style has tagged me, so I'll answer that before I go and turn my full attention on my family. Best wishes for a Merry Christmas.........Amanda.

Scrooge or Elf?

1.Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper, ribbons & bows!
2.Tree...real or artificial? Would love real, but have artificial.
3.When do you put Christmas tree up? December 1st.
4.When do you take the tree down? December 31st.
5.Like eggnog? Yes.....chilled and over ice (aussie style!).
6.Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, it was my Nana's.
7.Favourite gift received as a child? A 3 storey Barbie doll house with an elevator that ran up through the middle. It was soooooooo cool!
8.Hardest person to buy for? My loved ones. The more I love someone, the harder they are to buy for because I want the gift to be PERFECT!
9.Easiest person to buy for? Me, myself & I.
10.Worst gift? One year I gave someone 6 crystal goblets, and they gave me a pair of socks!
11.Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail!!
12.Favourite Christmas movie? Any Christmas movie really, but I really love to watch old home movies at Christmas time.
13.When do you start shopping for Christmas? I shop all year round for both Christmas and birthdays.
14.Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No, but I have refunded a few......
15.Favourite food to eat on Christmas? Fresh prawns & crab.
16.Clear or coloured lights? Clear on the house, coloured on the tree.
17.Favourite Christmas song? White Christmas by Frank Sinatra, and Silent Night.
18.Travel during Christmas or stay home? Home!!
19.Can you name Santa's reindeer's? Some, not all. But Rudy is my favourite!
20.Angel or star on tree top? One of our tree's has a star, the other has an Angel.
21.Open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? One small gift each on Christmas Eve, the rest on Christmas morning.
22.Most annoying thing about this time of year? Hardly anyone shows any Christmas spirit or cheer at the shops or malls, they look at you like you're off your rocker if you show cheer or spirit to a stranger! ARGH! Kinda sad too really...

I'm going to tag Karen @ My Yellow Farmhouse.

Good Evening Amanda,
Oh those lights are beautiful. It all looks so stunning lit up at night. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. And your one true love and Paris Fifi looks handsome as well. Make quite a pair don't they? I loved reading your meme. I remember the 3-story Barbie Doll Houses with the elevator on the side. I never had one tho. I've returned gifts before myself, but I sure don't do it the day after Christmas. LOL. too many rude and hateful people in line. It's always so nice to read other things about our blogging friends. I so enjoyed reading yours. "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to you and yours from our Family. JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!! Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I hope you had a fabulous Christmas! We had such a warm and wonderful one. I got sad the day after and cried a little, but I am okay now. I think there is just so much planning and talk about it and then poof, it is over! Also, my kids are all getting so big, but I have sooooo much to be thankful for!

Happy New Year! Sharon
