Christmas Dreaming...(& shopping!)

Wow! Where are the days going?! I can't believe I forgot to post yesterday! Mum arrived on my door step bright and early all ready to hit the shops. I informed her that we needed to stop for coffee at Starbucks before my heart could even start to beat, let alone tackle the Christmas crowds! After Precious Princess, Mum, and I were all refreshed and highly stimulated, we dove head first into the crazed crowds. 7 hours later...........we got out with out too much injury (only to my wallet.....ssshhhh, don't tell One True Love!). We did manage to get quite a few presents on our ever growing list, posted off a truck load of Christmas cards, and bought some more Christmas decorations for the house. Precious Princess is my official present wrapper upper, lol, so she hastily got to work a-wrappin' as you can see by what's under the tree already. I bought a wonderful Christmas music CD, so we had that blasting through the house as she wrapped and I prepared dinner. I also got a new table runner for the coffee table as seen in these photo's, and I finally got some Christmas cushion covers! I have been looking high and low for Christmas cushion covers and finally I found them.......so I bought a dozen, just in case! lol (go away One True Love, there's no need for you to be reading this......sweetie pie, honey. Love you! xx) I don't know if you can see it or not, but outside the window is a raging storm. The thunder is crashing, the lightening is striking all over, and the rain is teeming down. Paris Fifi & Julietta have gone off to curl up and hide in their beds, Precious Princess is dancing around practising for her dance concert this weekend, and I am taking photo's for you. Now I'm off to sew on yet MORE sequins to dance costumes! ARGH!! On another note, would you mind saying a little prayer for my Princess, she goes in to get braces put on her teeth in the morning and we are both excited, but really nervous too! I just hope it all goes quickly and with-out any dramas. Thank you!

I have to say a big thank you too, to Marcela from 'Siempre en algun lugar' for blessing me with the "Friends Make The World Go Around" award, and to Susan from Black Eyed Susan's Kitchen for tagging me for the "5 Random Things About You". I'll have to think on that one and post 5 things tomorrow. Right now though I'd like like to pass the Friends Make The World Go Around award to all of my blogging friends because with out you stopping by to visit each day and leaving your lovely sweet and, often funny, comments, I would be pretty lonely I do believe. I love to visit each of you and share in your daily lives, and I am thrilled when you each stop by and visit with lil' ole me too!

Love Amanda.

Good Morning Amanda,
I hear ya on having that first cup of coffee to start your day. I'm having my first cup right now. If I don't have my coffee, well let's just say you don't want to be around me. LOL. I love all of your Christmas decorations. They are just beautiful. Your tree is beautiful as well. I love the Santa haning on the wall by the window. And your table runner is so beautiful. I love lacey things. I couldn't see it raining thru the window. It's nice your Precious Princess likes to wrap the presents. That's a big help. I used to wrap all the girls presents when they were smaller, but then I just got to where I buy a big "Santa Bag" and put their things in it. Saves alot of time. Now, I have to wrap again because they are at that age where one doesn't believe in Santa anymore and my youngest says she does, but I think she says that so she will get some presents. LOL. I do hope you will take some pictures of your Precious Princess Dance Recital this weekend. I can't wait to see the dress you are making for her. Well, take care my friend and have a great Wednesday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Ok, now a few things... I can totally see your rationalization in buying that many Christmas cushion covers. I'm sure you got a deal. Secondly, congratulations on your award, darling. You totally deserve it. And thirdly, WHERE did you find that CD?? Frank, Dean and Perry?? Are you kidding me? 3 nice Italian boys. I want one. Will you make me a copy and send it today??

Just teasing!

Love,
Julie

Good for you to have some of your shopping and wrapping done! I haven't even thought about shopping, I am still busy decorating and getting ready for our big party. Having this little puppy underfoot is really slowing down the process!

Have a great day! Sharon

I love coming by here and always have a good time with wee Clint!!

I need to find some of those cushion covers...I could by pillows already made but then I would have to store them...I didn't even know they made covers!

I hope all goes well with the braces!

Have a great day! =)
