Before & after...

Hi Ladies! Thank you for your advice and encouragement on recovering the lamp shade. Things have been so crazy here these last few days, so I haven't had the time to sit and play with recovering so I went out and bought 2 matching lamp shades. Yes, I took the easy way out, but I will go back and have a try at recovering the old lamp shade when I get a chance, and I'll share what happens when I do. Until then, I'll leave you with some before and after photo's of the 2 lamps and the candle holder make over for our bedroom. Tomorrow Precious Princess and I have to drive to a small town about 6 hours from here to pick up my One True Love. He's been away for work and needs us to come and pick him up tomorrow, so we'll be up early to hit the road for the long drive. I will be very glad when he's home safe and sound again! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend, and I'll be around to visit as soon as I can! Love Amanda xxx

The 2 thrifted lamps and candle holder.....before.

After....the made over lamps on duty in our bedroom!

The lamp on my side of the bed...

The lamp on my husband's side of the bed. I took all the junk, like clock and tv remotes off the table for the photo.

Here you can see the made over candle holder on my little iron table at the end of our bed.

Lamps $5 each, shades $15, candle holder $1. The pleasure they give me....priceless!
