Anyway, today I thought I'd post some random photo's from when my daughter, my mum and I went thrifting together a while ago, to a lovely little seaside town called Cleveland.........
we were just about at the end of our day when it dawned on me that maybe my USA blogging friends might like to see some of this area.......
I didn't know whether or not you would find it interesting to see all the greenery we have around our shopping areas or whether things are like this in the USA too?
It was such a gorgeous day......
and I did manage to score some really good thirft store finds which I'll show you next post....
My Princess decided that she would like to have Subway for lunch, so over we went.....
for a delicious seafood roll.......yummo!
and when I say we........
I mean ALL of us went......naturally. LuLu is having her puppy milk to drink for her lunch........
and then she nestled down into her bed on the chair next to me, while I sat in the warm winter sunshine enjoying my lovely lunch and the company of my loved ones....
What a beautiful day!
Wishing you a great Monday ladies!
Love Amanda & LuLu La Rue xxx

meeeps... she is so cute!! Some area's of the USA have greenery such as this and others are just brick and mortar.. boring. Do share your finds. I look forward to seeing them.

It looks like a beautiful place to shop. They don't have much here in Washington State, even though it rains all the time, You're lucky if you get flowers in pots. Have a great week and give Miss Lulu kisses!
Amanda, You may have cornered the market on cute with Miss LaRue. One of my children was "built" on Subway tuna sandwiches (lol) and we are going back 27 years! I still crave them every now and then.

I think LuLu need her own blog!!!
m ^..^
It looks as if you had a lovely time! That Miss LuLu LaRue is just such a darlin' little thing! Makes me want to run out and get one for myself. I will, however, resist since my 5 other doggies would not appreciate one so small invading their space! LOL! Thanks for sharing your fun with us!

Oh Amanda, I have clearly been away too long. This is my first glimpse of Miss LuLu, my goodness she is so precious!!!!
Hugs,

Oh Amanda! You know what I love. It's amazing how our towns are the "SAME" but totally different. I've never seen anything like that, but I've seen something completely identical as far as "rows of shops with bits of greenery between them" ... usually we are rather lacking in trees and the lovely planters are fewer and much farther in between. I felt like I totally visited some fancy country with very spiffy looking shops. The trees especially ... I've never seen trees like those ... the closest I've seen to that shape is off of the coast, several hours north of us. I painted a picture of one of them I liked it so much.
I love that you think to post pictures of "the usual" around you ... being as how it is so unusual to us in America. Thank you thank you thank you.
And yes ... Lu Lu La Rue is so adorable. Do you see lots of other adoring dog owners walking by with puppies in dog purses there in Australia?
I'm thinking Lu Lu is looking very loved and pampered. Just the way it should be. And my guess is that she's extra special and you're extra nice. An "extra good dog mother."
Enjoy.
Ooooohhhhhh, Lulu is so adorable! It does not get any citer that that!
