Happy Birthday to me!

Well, it's official. Time does keep marching right on by, and I think after looking in the mirror this morning and seeing a 36 year old face looking back, that time is marching right across my face......with boots on! That was one quick visit to the bathroom I can tell you! lol I thought I'd share my day with you so far. One True Love left for work at his usual 2.30am (he's an Engineer, and he drives about 4 hours to work each day) so I haven't seen him yet today, but he woke me with a kiss before he left and he's rung while driving to a meeting. He doesn't usually get home until about 7pm each night, so we'll have a birthday dinner with him when he gets home. Precious Princess came in to my bedroom and woke me with some lovely presents. One True Love and Princess bought me some new things for the kitchen (they know the way to my heart!). I got a new kettle, a new toaster and a new blender, and the best part, they are all PINK! So now they match my pink Kitchenaid mixer! (I'm easily excited! lol) Princess also bought me a new apron with cupcakes all over it (I LOVE cupcakes!). Isn't it just so cute! My mum bought me some beautiful clothes for winter, some perfume, some money, and some books. I can't wait to get started on the projects in these books! Princess has also set up the table very nicely for me, so that when we get home tonight (Princess has her bowling league tonight) we'll be able to have dinner all together with One True Love and my mum. I'm having a lovely day pottering around doing what I love best, cooking (the birthday dinner!) and re-arranging the kitchen to fit the new PINK appliances.
