Weather Man

If I was THE Weather Man I would just throw my hands up in the air and say "well I dunno, your guess is as good as mine"! The first photo is what the weather was like here yesterday. Crystal clear blue skies, soft gentle breeze........truly a tropical paradise. Then today we wake up and find this......rain, rain, and more rain. To me both of these are gorgeous, but if you've been reading this blog for a little while, you'll know how much I am looking forward to some cooler, more comfortable weather. So can you imagine my complete and utter GLEE (and whoop-dee-doo's) to be able to whip out the ol' cuppa soup and curl up on the couch with a craft and this magazine and not be sweating to near death! Sigh.......yeah, it's the little things in life.

Also I just wanted to thank everyone for your congratulations for my daughter yesterday. I got her to read out all your comments to me over breakfast, and she was just stoked (over the moon) with your support and love for her! Thank you from the bottom of this proud mumma's heart. You ladies are awesome!

Good Morning Amanda,
I am trying to catch up with everyone this morning. I did put up a new post and am out visiting a little here and there. I am feeling some better today. The first picture is just so beautiful with the waves in the Ocean. Rain can be a good thing. It makes for a nice cozy and comfy day to stay in and just take it easy. I have always been told that you are suppose to be able to sleep better when it is raining. I do know that when it is raining here, I do find myself napping. LOL. Guess there maybe a little truth to it. Your cup of Soup looks like the right thing to have on a rainy day. I read your previous post about your Precious Princess. "CONGRATULATION'S" to Precious Princess on a very well earned Achievement. I know you are so very proud of her. That is such a great honor to be part of the team. I know she is so excited about it and has worked so very hard for that spot. The picture of her on the beach is so beautiful. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Amanda. congrats on our daughters dance award...it is so wonderful to see the fruits of your labor...I bet you are so proud!
I guess it really isn't cooling of too much if you are at the beach tanning...oh what a life. I am posting some pics of our weather today if you want to see the opposite of your weather.
I am happy you like the coasters, they are quite fun to make....they are primitive but that is one style I really like. If you would like I would gladly send you the set and the pattern too. Let me know...Or if you want to make your own I can send you just the pattern...whatever you wish! Have a great day. Dianntha

Oh I am so happy for you. You've been waiting for a long time. We are still waiting for a bit of warmth here. We freeze in the morning and get excited in the afternoon when the sun peeks out for a second. Then we freeze for a few more hours. Each warmth is a bit longer. Yay! Kathi
