I'm on a roll!

Ok, now you've really inspired me to get the creative juices flowing! lol I went hunting around to see what I had to work with and found a stack of fabrics that I bought a couple of years ago. I had such grand plans for the fabrics, but for the life of me, I can't remember what those plans were! So I decided to start making new cushion covers. I don't have a sewing machine, so I made this cover by hand. It took me most of Sunday to do it, and I am really happy with it! Precious Princess saw me stitching away and decided that she'd like to make something too. So I got out a little heart shaped muffin tin and traced around it, cut them out and she sewed it together and stuffed them, added some ribbon and hung them in her room. Then she made a teeny tiny little round pillow to sit at the end of her bed. I'm really happy that something actually turned out so well! lol Who knew I could do it! Ok, I'm off to start on the next cushion cover. Wish me luck!

Good Evening Amanda,
Oh my goodness girlfriend, you did such a great job on making the seat covers. And to do it by hand is so, so wonderful. I would still be trying to sew down one side if I had to sew by hand. LOL. Precious Princess' Pillow and little heart are just precious as well. So glad yall had some time together and done some sewing. I do love the pink and green material. "THANK YOU" for sharing your creative crafts with us. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I love your cushion cover. It looks like you know what you are doing. It's great that even though you don't have a sewing machine, you don't let that stop you. The hearts are so cute too. Thanks for coming by my blog even though I have not posted lately. Hugs, Kathi

Very cute girl and I love those bright fabrics. Sewing by hand - now that's some dedication to a project. Those sweet little treasures that the princess whipped up are adorable. What a crafty pair you both are :).
