It's raining, it's pouring....

the old man is snoring. Well One True Love was snoring the afternoon away! lol How do you spend a dark and rainy Sunday afternoon? Before crawling into a nice comfy corner to read a good book, I spent the afternoon playing Monopoly with Precious Princess. Naturally Paris Fifi (our dog/2nd child) and Julietta(cat/unimpressed with the dog 3rd child) were on hand for financial advice. Note to self, never ask a pet/ticked off cat for advice so soon after a visit to the groomers. They have their own agenda...

Good Morning Amanda,
It's suppose to start raining here again tonight as well. We may even have some Severe Thunderstorms Monday night into Tuesday. It's suppose to get up to 70 degrees on Monday. I hope it doesn't get too bad. I don't mind the rain and a few rumbles of thunder, but I sure don't like the Severe Storms. Sounds like you and Precious Princess had a good time playing Monopoly. I used to play that game alot years ago. Your cat doesn't look to happy in the picture. I guess she was still mad from being groomed. Oh dear, my DH snores alot too. LOL. When he is on his back, he rattles the windows. LOL. I have to nudge him and make him role over on his side. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Aaaah...... rainy days....I love them in the summer....in the winter, not so much. I wish we had just a part of our porch roof in tin. I love to hear rain on a tin roof....as noisy as it can be, it would put me to sleep :-)

A rainy day in winter makes me want to eat, look at magazines, eat, watch mind numbing TV, eat, snuggle with the pets, eat.....I see a pattern here :-)

Have a wonderful day.............rosie

When I was a girl, my family played Monopoly on rainy days as well. My brother always had to be the car and I always wanted to be the thimble. My Mom always won but I didn't mind, I just loved to play:)

Tell Miss Julietta not to be cross, Mommy was just helping her look her beautiful best!

BTW the Pink Wish Tim Tam's look YUMMY!! Enjoy:)

Love ya,
Rhonda

Yep, I passed go many a time. Round and round and round we went! My daughter was Banker, and for a while there I was just a sitting duck, but just when I started winning the game, it wound up pretty fast and got shoved, er I mean packed away. Funny that. lol
