Today the lovely Cielo from The House In The Roses (her link is on my side bar) is hosting a Dessert Carnival! She's gone to a lot of work putting these fabulously decadent desserts all together, so please pop over to visit with her and take your taste buds for a walk on the wild side.....and across the globe! Warning.......stretchy pants will be needed! lol Here is my contribution to Cielo's dessert carnival, Ina Garten's (The Barefoot Contessa) Brownie Tart.

If you haven't tried this delicious recipe before, then I suggest that you RUN into the kitchen right now and whip it up. Your family will love you even more than they already do now. I promise. No kidding. Honest.
PS I don't know why the link to this recipe isn't working, but if you google Barefoot Contessa's recipes you'll find it in the "Lunch for the boys" episode of her tv series on the Food Network.

Yummy Amanda! That looks scrumptious. You are right.....if I could just cook.....just think of all the new plants my hubby would get for me ......sigh....

Oh that looks so good! Now you will be getting me into trouble as I have already gained 5 pounds in one month, which I will be posting about. Yummy Yum. Thanks for treating me to dessert. Happy day Dear Amanda.

Amanda, I noticed you had an Ina recipe, too. She is fantastic, isn't she?

Oooh! I need to NOT go over there and tempt myself. I just finally made it to below 180 pounds and I want to STAY there. Well ... that's not true ... I want to go LOWER. heh.
The brownies look AMAZING with the caramel on top. Is that caramel? EVERYTHING tastes better with caramel on it.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
And I loved your comments about "getting yours" on my blog. I commented back to you on my blog, but as you may not have seen it, I'll mention it here as well. I can totally picture you, being a drama queen at the moment, and draping yourself across the foot of your mother's bed, announcing "don't weep for me. My life has been good, but it's ending!"
ha ha ha haha
Also you made me laugh with your stretchy pants comment! It's those little funny things you say that make you so endearing and funny. That's why I love coming back again and again!
Have a great day!
(Hope you are over your cold!)
Love!
