It arrived. It finally arrived! Look what came in the mail today...........................for FREE!!! A brand spanking new bread maker! Woo hoo, I'm so excited! Please don't tell me how tragic I am to be excited over a bread maker, I know that already! lol Have you received anything lately in the mail that made your toes curl with happiness? If not, here's hoping that day is today!

You lucky girl getting such a wonderful machine for free. We sort of grew out of our bread machine (and wore it out) but my husband bought me one of the very expensive kitchen aid mixers (just happened to by himself a motorbike at the same time!?!)and it makes dough of every description beautifully....I'm always using it. The bread machine also makes great pizza dough and I found that most old fashioned bread and bun recipes work really well in it. Sometimes if the mix was too big I would bake it off in the oven.

Hi Robin, over here we have a thing called "fly buys". You order yourself a fly buys card, then everytime you make a purchase in certain stores, they scan your fly buys card and you earn points. Once you've earned enough points, you can start spending points to buy things from their catalogue. The bread maker cost me 20,000 points. I rang & placed my order, and 2 weeks later it came in the mail! Love it! lol
