Today was all about the cleaning. Spring fever is in the air! Beds have been stripped of Winter sheets & blankets, washed & remade with cool cotton Summer sheets. The wardrobes have been attacked too. All Winter clothes were stored away, and what remained was sorted into keep and give away piles. Shoes and handbags were sorted through as well. Everything is neat, tidy and Spring fresh again in the bedrooms. I feel refreshed knowing that. The rest of the week I'll tackle a different area each day. Tomorrow is the kitchen cupboards & pantry. Don't you just love the feeling of a good Spring clean? I have to confess that I am a clean-a-holic anyway, but there's just something about freshly washed curtains and orderly cupboards that sends a thrill of excitement down my spine! (I know, I know......I need to get out more! lol)
Anyway I have a question for you all? This sweet little strawberry canister is a recent thrift store find, and I just love it, but I am at a loss as to what I could use it for. What would you use it for? It's not very big, and the lid just sits lightly on top, it's not a seal tight lid. Ants are a problem here during Summer, and they are worse because of the drought, so I can't keep anything in it that ants will like. At the moment it's just sitting pretty on the bench, but I like to be able to use things in the kitchen, not just admire them.
I'd love to hear any suggestions you may have for it's use!?

I'm sure it is a jam pot. If you kept it in the fridge, could you use it for that? Or fill it with glitter!
Is it big enough to use for storing tea bags? Or as Karla says use it to store something that needs refrigeration.

Or use it for some other small items on your counter or desk top. Very cute!
I will play. How about holding your jewelry for when your washing/rinsing dishes?
