well one of those simple pleasures for me is something deliciously sweet to eat and a cup of good coffee. So today I made a couple of orange pound cakes. These are simple and delicious. Truly delicious! Today I just sprinkled icing sugar (powdered sugar) over the top, but when I'm feeling decadent, I'll make a cream cheese icing. Oh. My. Gosh! (stretchy pants are often needed after, so brace yourself.) Hope you're having a day of simple pleasures too!

Do I love my mixer you ask? Oh yes I certainly do! The mixer and the dishwasher are my 2 favourite things in the kitchen! And to have the mixer in a pretty pink colour makes me love HER all the more! lol
