Well sort of.............I have been reading on a few blogs that some of you are starting to see your first soft flurries of snow falling. I can only imagine how beautiful that must be to wake up to that every morning! So this afternoon I was sitting under the gorgeous Poinciana tree in our yard, and I was thinking how it looks like a red flowered snow fall all over the lawn. I just love this tree, the flowers are really stunning, and I wanted to share with you our tropical snow fall!

Gorgeous!
That's about the only snow I want to have unless it's Dec 23-Dec 30. Those flowers are gorgeous! Do you ever get snow??
Love,
Julie
Good Morning Amanda,
Your Poinciana Tree is beautiful. Is it similar to a Poinsetta by any chance? I love how it snowflaked your yard. It is just gorgeous. I was watching our local weather here last night after I got home from the game and he mentioned the "I" word. Yeap, Ice. He said this coming weekend. He did say it was still a few days out and they would be watching it. I will take snow anyday, but just no ice. That is some dangerous stuff, especially to try to drive on. Well, take care my friend and have a great Tuesday. May God Bless You and Yours.
Hugs,
Karen H.
Just wonderful! I will remember to look back on those pictures in February when the "novelty" of the snow has worn off and we are counting the days to see the first daffodil :-) I'm counting on you to bring me some sunshine and flowers all winter long!
That tree is fabulous. It would be wonderful for you to experience snow at least once...but that is enough. I could happily go through the winter without the white stuff. It is beautiful and enchanting to look at, as well as wet, slippery, cold and hard to remove from cars and driveways.

Just simply breathtaking. I would trade MY snow for YOUR snow any day of the week!! Does it ever get very cold there?
Have a wonderful, fun, and blessed day!
hugs, bj
A tropical Christmas would be so different! It was raining all day..a very cold rain yesterday....I am happy that it stopped but snow is in the forecast for this weekend. Dianntha
That is lovely...a tropical snow fall! Thank you so much for you email--I will reply soon. Happy Day, Amanda! (HUGS))
How lovely Amanda!!!
Hi Amanda...after I say Hi I am going to find out what kind of coffee I am!!
I liked your "snow"...very pretty!!
Love to you,
Robin

That is so funny... very pretty, but I like you will not see what they have. My snow is mississippi pinestraw!
It surely sounds beautiful-that sweet image of soft snow falling from the sky, covering the land with white twinkly starts.... hehe... just don't try to drive to work on a snowy morning.... Nay, snow it's only pretty from far away; not fun at all; I can tell you that much.
I prefer flowers and a sunny coast...

I think I like your snow better than the snow we have here! LOL
I posted some pictures from the first little snowfall at the Kahshe Cottage today and will do some more later in the week.
Loved your Christmas decorations! I am getting mine ready now too!
So pretty.

Someday, when I come to Australia to visit my brother in law...I'm looking you up no matter how far from him you live...and I'm gonna see that gorgeous tree! *lol* Thanks for the wonderful photos!
We have snow here in northern AZ, but it only stays for a couple of hours and it only happens once every few years! *lol*
Take care!

Trust me, Honey, I would rather being seeing your "snow" flakes!
Absolutely beautiful! Come see the white stuff over at my blog. I think I prefer your temps though!
Hi Amanda..... Let me tell ya.... I would rather be under your tree with the gently falling red petals/leaves?.than under mine where all the leaves have gone and the snow & wind are a whirlin'....
I'll be hibernating as much as I can for the next few months.... Thank goodness I have a studio filled with anything i choose to work with!!!!
((((hugs)))))
