Good morning! I hope you all had the most wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones! I thought I'd post some more photo's of our home with all it's Christmas decorations, I hope you aren't growing tired of me just yet? The first 2 photo's are on top of the china cabinet in the dining room. My Grandparents were given this cabinet as a wedding present from the Brides family back in the early 1920's. It's made from Rosewood, and all the drawers are lined with thick dark green felt. I loved the history of it so much when I was a little girl, the family history, that it was passed down to me when I got married. The last 3 photo's are of my coffee table. Here's http://jacarandacottage.blogspot.com/2007/11/my-coffee-table.html what the coffee table was like before things got changed around for Christmas. The little crystal bell in the middle was a thrift store find for $2. Last year I was lucky enough to find some Aussie ornaments. There are 5 of them scattered around the table. I think my favourite thing though, is the white Christmas tree stand with the little ornaments inside.
I'm so enjoying waking up and walking out here each morning, it puts me in a happy mood as soon as I see it all. Christmas is right around the corner, and I can't wait! HO HO HO! hehehehe

Hi, Mandi...your decorations are great...so colorful. I am in the middle of putting up our little tree and just sit down for a cup of coffee...which always leads me to the computer and blogging! Imagine that! haha
We've always had a hugh tree but trouble taking the hugh box up and down the stairs to the attic. So, in our OLDER (notice I didn't say OLD)age, we have downsized to a much smaller tree. The grandkids don't seem to mind...as long as there's lots of gifts UNDER it! heh heh heh
And, it is easier for us to handle.

Love you colorful decorations. I have started but have hit the proverbial wall....so I need all the inspiration I can get :-)
Beautiful! I love the decorations and love seeing pictures. Take more and often!

Good Evening Amanda,
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate too much. LOL But anyway, it was an enjoyable day. Later in the afternoon, hubby and the girls put up our tree and decorated it. I unpacked the decorations and sorted them out and told where to put some. LOL I have been decorating some this afternoon also. After visiting all my friends here in blogland, yall have realy inspired me to decorate more this year. I still have a ways to go in the decorating department. I have to get my villages from the other house and bring them here. I think I'm going to put it on my bar. I love that China cabinet. I have an antique China cabinet and well as an antique buffet that belongs to my mother. She is letting me use them. I just can't ever get rid of them. They have yet to be moved here to our house yet. The girls decorated their bedrooms some last night as well. I had some decorations for them to use. I don't have a coffee table to decorate, but I'm going decorate my end tables. This is the first time in a long time that I am decorating this much. Thank you and the others for inspiring me. Well, take care my friend and have a great evening. I plan on posting some pictures in the next few days or so. May God Bless You and Yours.
Hugs,
Karen H.
Someone has been very busy decorating since I stopped by last :). Everything looks so pretty and festive. Isn't it fun to wake up and walk through such wonderfulness first thing in the morning. It always puts a smile on my face, even before my first cup of coffee in my "happy cup". Thank you for sharing sweetie.

Love the decorating! There's never enough pictures in my opinion! Thanks for posting them!

Hi Amanda!
This post is putting me in the Christmas Spirit for sure! I am drinking my morning coffee and still trying to catch up on all the blogging I missed this past week.
I love that you have your Grandparents china cabinet. That's wonderful!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Your decorations look great! I started bringing the boxes our last night and am going to work a little on decorating this morning. Grayson has a basketball game out of town, so we have to leave at 10:15, so I won't be able to get too much done. I will finish it hopefully tonight and tomorrow.
Thank you for your Thanksgiving wishes! Have an awesome day today!
Love Sharon
Oh, I love all of your decorations. I am one of those who waits until after Thanksgiving to decorate, so I am really gearing up over here:)
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Amanda,
So festive! I like the way you put the little bits and pieces into such eye catching vignettes. Lots to look at and it has real Christmas spirit. I need to stop reading what everyone else is doing and start decorating. Susan
Amanda, your style is "eclectic"! You like a little bit of everything. Not "confused" as you called it on my blog. LOL
